General:
In October, our focus was on MetaModels 2.1 for Contao 4. There were also some updates for MM 2.0, but they are not implemented yet.
MetaModels 2.1 for Contao 4
We are making good progress with MetaModels 2.1. The goal is still to have the first (beta) version beginning of November 2017.
In our test case, we did the basic installation of MetaModels 2.1 (Contao 4.4) with most of the (non-translated) attributes. We will continue with the translated attributes and the specific filters. Here is a screenshot of the installation:
The improved code for MM 2.1 will also be beneficial for MM 2.0 in terms of speed.
The Fundraising for MetaModels 2.1 increased to 1.844€, which is about 12% of the goal.
In October, there were two donations: ETES GmbH (Stuttgart) with 500€ and abc-com (from France) with 244€ - thanks a lot!
We decided to offer MM 2.1 for "early adopters" in exchange for an appropriate donation for the project. So far, three companies would like to use this option. After the fundraising is completed, MM 2.1 will be available for all users. For more information, please contact mail@metamodels.me
Besides a financial support, a collaboration in terms of developing is always welcome – as a “donation” or in connection with a payment from the fundraising.
The fundraising for Manual file sorting is still at 46% of the target amount. For all users, who would like to have this feature before the fundraising is completed, there is also an "early adopter" option.
For the new fundraising “watchlist”, we got a donation from Sebastian Krull of 350€ - thanks a lot!
